Key tasks and responsibilities
- Annual Assurance Program: Establish and manage an annual assurance and control program to oversee compliance with Information Security (IS) standards, regulations, and Valora’s guidelines, ensuring Valora meets internal and external requirements.
- Policy Adaptation and Implementation: Oversee the adaptation and implementation of Valora’s policies to align with the unique needs of Valora’s business unit while adhering to local regulations.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify IS risks specific to the business unit, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure effective implementation to protect Valora’s operations.
- Compliance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor compliance with IS policies, maintaining detailed records and generating periodic reports on adherence to standards and identified findings.
- Awareness and Training: Support the integration of IS awareness and training programs, ensuring personnel understand and fulfill their security responsibilities.
- Audit Collaboration: Partner with internal audit and IS compliance teams during internal and external audits to address findings and improve IS practices.
Key skills / requirements
- Educational Background: Degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity governance and compliance.
- Professional Experience: Proven experience in implementing and managing assurance and compliance programs, with a strong understanding of IS regulations and frameworks.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of IS risk management, self-assessment methodologies, and compliance monitoring tools, with practical experience in policy adaptation and control design.
- Analytical and Organizational Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks, paired with excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
