Key tasks and responsibilities
- Contributing to the design of the organizational structures of the Group and the business units in cooperation with the functional platforms and HR management
- Ensuring the creation and updating of job descriptions
- Defining job types and frequency tables and ensuring that the integration of new jobs is in line with the defined ratios
- Tracking labour costs by monitoring organizational structures against planned structures
- Define, coordinate and ensure compliance with the approval process for new positions
- Coordinate the process for determining critical factors and staff performance appraisal according to established guidelines
- Ensure that all positions at Valora are evaluated according to their responsibilities and contributions
- Coordinating and ensuring the salary administration process (except for Basic Teams), such as proposals for new incomes, salary increases and calculation of annual bonus, in compliance with the guidelines set by OyC
- Designing and managing compensation systems, taking into account market studies on salaries, compensation and benefits and in compliance with the guidelines set by FEMSA, as well as defining and implementing variable compensation plans for operational staff in line with the business strategy
- Ensuring the integration of structures, compensation plans and payroll accounting when taking over new chains
- Validating and ensuring the appropriate benefits are assigned to each role within the organization and aligned across different business units
Key skills / requirements
- Completed degree in economics, ideally with a focus on human resource management or business administration
- Several years of experience in Compensation & Benefits and organizational development, preferably in internationally active companies
- In-depth understanding of the Swiss market in the area of Total Rewards, including local compensation structures, benefits, and regulatory requirements; knowledge of the German market is an advantage
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel regularly for business, approximately once a month
- Strong ability to analyze data and derive strategic decisions
