Key tasks and responsibilities
- Incident Management & Response: Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, ensuring swift recovery and minimal disruption.
- Crisis Program Implementation: Tailor and execute our IS incident and crisis management program to meet the specific needs of our business’s units.
- Forensic Analysis & Reporting: Lead forensic investigations to uncover the root causes of incidents, generating insights and actionable reports for executive decision-making.
- Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Scanning: Develop and execute penetration testing and vulnerability scanning programs to identify and mitigate risks.
- Cyber Threat Intelligence: Implement and manage our cyber threat intelligence strategy, strengthening our defense capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure preventative measures are in place and continuously improve our security posture.
- Safety Culture: Promote and adhere to the safety culture at Valora, ensuring best practices are followed across the business unit.
Key skills / requirements
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience with specialized training in Cybersecurity
- Extensive experience in incident response, offensive security, and forensic analysis, with a proven track record in managing complex security challenges
- Expertise in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, forensic tools) and knowledge of cyber threat intelligence platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to all levels of the organization. A team player with a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus.
